Key duties encompass menu planning and execution with a focus on seafood, supervising food preparation and cooking processes, and directing kitchen sections during peak service hours.
The Executive Sous Chef provides leadership and guidance to kitchen staff, implements and maintains mile en place procedures, and upholds rigorous food safety, hygiene, and cost control protocols. Additionally, the position contributes to menu innovation, facilitates seamless communication with front-of-house personnel to optimize service flow, and remains responsive to guest insights and seasonal ingredient fluctuations.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by at least three years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with a strong grasp of data structures and algorithms. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and experience with Agile methodologies are required.
