Our Promise:
With a commitment to transporting essential goods across Africa, our operations facilitate life-saving deliveries, food distribution to nations, infrastructure development, and economic advancement. We seek a Sales & Technical Proposal Representative to transform Africa’s most challenging logistics routes into pathways of growth and opportunity.
The Opportunity
We are searching for a junior-level sales professional (1 to 2 years of experience) with advanced technological proficiency to fill the role of Technical Proposal Writer. The preferred candidate will possess a proven track record of crafting meticulously detailed, high-impact proposals tailored to the Oil & Gas industry, as well as UN agencies, NGOs, and international development organizations.
You will oversee the entire proposal development lifecycle, spanning from RFP analysis to final submission, while actively embodying our C.A.R.E. Culture.
We seek candidates who embody our C.A.R.E. profile, demonstrating Competence, Accountability, Respect, and Empathy in all professional interactions. Competence involves possessing the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience to perform tasks efficiently and effectively. Accountability entails taking ownership of your actions, decisions, and their outcomes, while ensuring transparency and reliability. Respect is demonstrated through valuing diverse perspectives, fostering an inclusive environment, and maintaining professional courtesy. Finally, Empathy requires understanding and addressing the needs of colleagues, clients, and stakeholders with sensitivity and consideration.
You are highly client-focused, guaranteeing a response within 15 minutes or as required, and consistently prioritizing client needs with a sense of urgency. Your ability to communicate promptly and efficiently ensures that client concerns are addressed without delay.
You demonstrate a proactive approach by focusing on solutions rather than excuses. You take accountability for errors, maintain composure during challenges, and consistently exhibit initiative in your work.
You proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact clients, addressing underlying causes rather than merely treating visible symptoms.
You prioritize empathy, beginning with attentive listening before taking action. With a deep understanding of the distinct challenges faced by clients in Africa, you approach every situation with ethical integrity and practical awareness.
You will be entrusted with a range of critical duties, including overseeing project execution, ensuring adherence to established timelines, and maintaining high standards of quality in all deliverables. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will facilitate seamless communication and alignment to achieve organizational objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process optimization, conducting thorough analyses to inform strategic decision-making, and implementing solutions to enhance overall efficiency. Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills, will be essential to excel in this role. A results-driven mindset and the ability to adapt to dynamic challenges will be key to your success in this position.
