This full-time, on-site position for a Sales and Leasing Consultant is located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The individual selected for this role will take ownership of key responsibilities, including:
Foster meaningful partnerships with a diverse range of organizations, including startups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), multinational corporations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and individuals working remotely.
Leverage diverse channels—such as networking events, client referrals, online platforms, and targeted outreach initiatives—to cultivate and expand the pipeline of prospective business opportunities.
We engage in the promotion of coworking memberships, private offices, dedicated desks, virtual offices, meeting rooms, and event spaces to prospective clients.
Lead engaging, informative tours for potential clients, highlighting the features and advantages of the facilities currently on offer.
Construct and sustain a robust pipeline of prospective sales opportunities to ensure consistent revenue growth and business expansion.
Draft and finalize membership agreements and lease documentation, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial through careful negotiation and review.
Transform inquiries into paying members and cultivate lasting client relationships.
Deliver consistent month-over-month and quarter-over-quarter growth in both occupancy levels and revenue generation.
Seize chances to propose and secure additional service offerings to clients, thereby enhancing their overall experience and increasing revenue potential.
Deliver exceptional customer experiences to foster satisfaction and drive retention.
Address member inquiries with urgency and professionalism, ensuring all concerns are handled efficiently and courteously.
Marketing available properties, facilitating property tours, and assisting prospective residents throughout the entire leasing journey—from their initial inquiry to the final move-in—are key responsibilities of this role.
The position involves drafting and overseeing lease agreements, guaranteeing precise lease management, and updating records in the designated systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
The consultant will address resident inquiries, efficiently resolve issues, and develop strategies to improve resident retention and satisfaction.
Daily responsibilities include collaborating with property management and maintenance teams, analyzing market trends, and driving occupancy and revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and exceptional customer service.
Assist in the execution of marketing initiatives designed to enhance occupancy rates.
Engage actively in various networking events, exhibitions, and professional forums to foster meaningful business connections.
Forge strategic alliances with business associations, chambers of commerce, and entrepreneurial networks to enhance collaborative opportunities and drive mutual growth initiatives.
Conduct thorough market research to analyze competitor products and services along with their pricing strategies.
Responsibilities include managing CRM databases and generating sales activity reports to track performance and ensure data accuracy.
Monitor occupancy rates, evaluate sales performance, and assess lead conversion metrics.
Compile and deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly sales reports meticulously.
Maintain accurate and organized filing of all membership agreements and related documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, with a minimum of five years of progressive experience in financial analysis or accounting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, LOOKUP, and complex formulas, is essential. Knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary to interpret financial data and present insights to stakeholders. The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Experience with financial modeling and forecasting is highly desirable.
Possesses in-depth expertise in lease structures, contractual provisions, and lease management, enabling the precise preparation, evaluation, and oversight of lease-related documentation.
Skilled in fostering resident retention through proactive relationship management, conflict resolution, and launching strategic initiatives designed to elevate satisfaction levels and drive lease renewals.
Outstanding interpersonal and client service abilities are required, enabling effective prospect engagement, professional response to inquiries, and adept management of varied resident requirements.
Proven sales or leasing expertise within the real estate, property management, or a comparable sector is strongly desired.
Proficient in on-site operations, adept at prioritizing tasks effectively, and capable of consistently achieving leasing and occupancy goals within a dynamic and high-pressure setting.
Demonstrated expertise in standard office software suites and property management or CRM platforms, alongside confidence in utilizing digital tools for reporting and documentation purposes.
A relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field is highly desirable.
Maintaining a high standard of integrity, demonstrating keen attention to detail, and adopting a professional, customer-centric mindset are essential qualities for this role.
