Responsible for establishing the precise locations and alignments of structures, roads, drainage systems, and other construction projects through accurate setting out procedures.
Before and during construction, verify site levels, alignments, dimensions, and boundaries to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Interpret architectural and structural drawings to ensure precise execution on-site.
Oversee construction activities to verify they align with the approved designs and specified measurements.
Compile daily survey reports and ensure the meticulous maintenance of precise survey records.
Collaborate closely with engineers, supervisors, and contractors to address all survey-related concerns and ensure seamless project execution.
Assess and report any discrepancies on-site or technical challenges that may impact construction progress.
Responsibilities include the management and upkeep of advanced surveying tools, including Total Stations, GPS devices, Auto Levels, and various measuring instruments.
Provide support in the development of as-built drawings and project documentation.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, supplemented by a minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar capacity. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ is required, along with experience using frameworks and tools such as Django, Spring Boot, or TensorFlow. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential. Additionally, familiarity with agile methodologies, version control systems, and cloud platforms is preferred. A diploma or degree in surveying, civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline is required.
