What You’ll Do
Drive consumer marketing initiatives throughout East Africa, concurrently providing strategic support for culturally tailored campaigns across other Sub-Saharan African regions.
Partner with colleagues across marketing, music, partnerships, media, analytics, and creative departments to collaboratively develop and execute campaigns from strategic planning to implementation.
Leverage both on-platform and off-platform insights to detect audience behaviors, uncover market opportunities, and pinpoint growth drivers, thereby guiding strategic marketing initiatives.
Craft comprehensive creative and media briefs in partnership with internal stakeholders as well as external agency collaborators.
Spearhead strategies to acquire, engage, and retain audiences across both Free and Premium segments.
Foster strategic alliances with local entities—including collaborators, influencers, agencies, and cultural landmarks—to amplify brand visibility and elevate consumer preference.
Conduct thorough evaluations of campaign efficacy, then distill key insights into strategic, executable recommendations to enhance future initiatives and market approaches.
Revise global marketing strategies to tailor them for local relevance, aligning with the distinct preferences and behaviors of varied consumer demographics and regional market conditions.
Collaborate with internal teams and regional partners to facilitate and enhance local music and cultural marketing initiatives.
Who You Are
You possess at least four years of professional experience in consumer marketing, brand marketing, or campaign management, specifically within the East African region.
You possess a proven track record of operating effectively across diverse Sub-Saharan African markets or executing regional campaigns with success.
With expertise spanning brand strategy, consumer insights, digital marketing, media, and project management, you bring a versatile skill set to the role. Your background in these key areas demonstrates a strong ability to develop cohesive brand narratives, analyze market trends, and execute impactful campaigns across multiple channels.
You have successfully executed high-impact marketing campaigns across digital businesses, FMCG, retail, entertainment, and technology sectors.
Experienced in transforming consumer and cultural insights into compelling marketing strategies and campaigns that drive impactful results.
You possess strong proficiency in leveraging data and performance metrics to assess outcomes and enhance marketing efficiency.
You must adeptly balance competing priorities while ensuring meticulous attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.
