A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BCN) or a Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) from an accredited institution is required.
Holding an active and valid license from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) is required for this position.
Holders of a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification demonstrate essential qualifications for critical care roles. These credentials validate proficiency in life-saving techniques, including CPR, defibrillation, airway management, and advanced cardiovascular interventions. Maintained through periodic recertification, they ensure adherence to the latest evidence-based emergency care protocols and regulatory standards.
At least one year of internship clinical working experience
Demonstrates strong competency in utilizing information technology systems, with particular expertise in Health Management Information Systems (HIS).
Proficient communication and strong interpersonal abilities are essential for fostering effective collaboration and building productive relationships within the team.
