Job Summary

Operational support will be provided for underwriting processes, serving as the primary liaison between the underwriting team and customers to ensure seamless end-to-end service delivery. A strong proficiency with key stakeholders will be maintained, enabling the fulfillment of work outputs while ensuring strict adherence to established governance and control requirements throughout the process.

Job Description

Renewal notices, containing the relevant terms, are dispatched to clients 60 days prior to the renewal date.

Issuance of policy documents must be completed within the specified turnaround time.

Support the claims department by promptly submitting all necessary documentation and information.

Approve and manage major quotations

Our responsibility includes maintaining strong relationships with current accounts to ensure their continued engagement and satisfaction.

Provide support to the credit control team by performing a range of administrative and operational tasks to ensure timely and accurate processing of credit-related activities. This involves maintaining customer accounts, tracking outstanding payments, and liaising with clients to resolve any payment discrepancies or overdue balances. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders are essential for this role. Additionally, familiarity with accounting software and basic knowledge of credit management principles are required.

Develop and execute retention strategies aligned with organizational objectives to ensure sustained portfolio performance and growth.

By evaluating risk factors, performing detailed analysis, and proposing strategic policy measures, you will effectively mitigate losses and safeguard organizational stability.

Evaluating potential portfolio risks stemming from clients’ operational practices, underwriting reviews, or indications of fraudulent activity.

Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with market penetration and business growth objectives.

Evaluating new and renewal business submissions by meticulously analyzing all relevant information to determine whether to approve, accept, or decline them.

Address customer escalations promptly and proactively to ensure timely resolution of issues.

By fostering collaborative partnerships across diverse distribution channels, including insurance brokers, agents, and bancassurance, we aim to expand service accessibility and broaden client reach to drive sustained growth.

Engaging with clients, agents, and brokers to finalize terms of coverage, pricing, and service delivery through collaborative discussions and negotiations.

Analyzing renewal rates for both groups and individuals, utilizing customers’ background, industry, and demographic data, to derive actionable insights.

Offering expert-level support to facilitate the thorough review, systematic classification, and accurate rating of applications.

Providing courteous and responsive assistance to customers, adeptly managing complex or difficult scenarios with professionalism.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three years of professional experience in a related discipline. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices. Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly preferred. Additional requirements may include relevant certifications or specialized training, as determined by the position’s specific needs.

A bachelor’s degree in insurance or a field related to business is required for this position.

Progress in the Insurance Professional Qualification program entails a comprehensive assessment of candidates’ knowledge and skills in key insurance principles, practices, and regulatory frameworks. Participants must demonstrate proficiency in areas such as underwriting, claims management, risk assessment, and compliance with industry standards. The qualification ensures individuals are equipped to navigate complex insurance scenarios, make informed decisions, and uphold ethical practices. Candidates are expected to complete rigorous training modules and pass examinations to validate their expertise. Successful completion of the program signifies readiness to contribute effectively to the insurance sector.

Professional candidates must possess a minimum of three years of hands-on underwriting experience.

We are seeking a highly motivated professional with a strong academic background in education or a related field. A bachelor’s degree or higher is essential, along with relevant teaching certifications or license where applicable. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for fostering learning environments, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage diverse student populations effectively. Responsibilities include curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
