Key duties will vary depending on the specific function assigned and may include executing core operational tasks, overseeing project components, managing designated workflows, ensuring compliance with established protocols, and supporting broader organizational objectives through specialized contributions. Responsibilities will be tailored to the role’s requirements and may encompass strategic planning, performance monitoring, stakeholder coordination, or other function-specific activities as determined by management.

Install, configure, commission, and maintain microwave radios, LTE/GSM equipment, and additional telecom infrastructure at tower and rooftop sites.

Perform Physical Acceptance Tests (PAT) and comprehensive site quality inspections on newly installed equipment and infrastructure to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.

Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on telecom equipment to sustain optimal network availability and service standards.

Perform diagnostic evaluations and replace defective radio, transmission, and power equipment installed on towers and rooftops.

Support network optimization efforts by conducting drive tests, analyzing signal data, diagnosing faults, and implementing performance enhancement initiatives.

Maintain and provide support for electrical power systems, encompassing rectifiers, batteries, generators (DEG), power distribution systems, grounding infrastructure, and site electrical protection systems.

Oversee and evaluate on-site electrical installations to verify adherence to electrical engineering standards and safety regulations.

Perform routine inspections and upkeep on tower and rooftop infrastructure, ensuring rust treatment, verifying earthing system integrity, and assessing structural integrity.

Perform comprehensive site surveys, execute detailed technical assessments, and conduct thorough feasibility studies to evaluate potential network expansion initiatives and infrastructure enhancement projects.

Assist in the execution of network upgrades, modernization initiatives, and the introduction of new technological solutions.

Compile maintenance reports, incident records, acceptance documentation, and operational logs with precision and punctuality.

Provide ongoing oversight, technical guidance, mentorship, and task distribution for the assigned technician to uphold operational efficiency and adherence to established standards in the field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are necessary. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently is required. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is advantageous.

A relevant technical qualification such as a Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable field is required.

With a minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in telecom field operations, radio systems, or network maintenance, candidates should demonstrate a proven track record in these specialized areas.

Proficiency in installing, commissioning, and maintaining microwave radio systems, as well as LTE and GSM equipment, is required.

Professional certifications from recognized vendors will enhance your application.

A solid grasp of fundamental electrical engineering concepts, including AC/DC power systems, rectifiers, generators, batteries, grounding techniques, and electrical safety protocols, is required.

Valid Fall Arrest Certification with a minimum of one year remaining before expiration is required.

Must hold valid certifications or have completed formal training in RF Awareness, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, as well as DISH regulations to ensure compliance and operational safety.

Physically and medically capable of performing duties at elevated heights and in field environments.
