Job Summary:
We seek a qualified Machine Attendant proficient in welding and gas cutting to enhance our fabrication and production operations. The successful applicant will manage, maintain, and operate machinery while upholding stringent quality benchmarks and strict safety protocols.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive array of critical duties, including but not limited to managing daily operations, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency. Develop and maintain robust policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align operational objectives with broader business goals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate detailed reports to assess progress, identify trends, and recommend data-driven solutions for optimization. Ensure machinery, tools, and equipment remain in optimal working condition through regular maintenance and meticulous care.
Adhere strictly to established safety protocols and consistently utilize the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Assist experienced welders and fabricators by performing intricate, high-level tasks under their supervision.
Ensure the workspace remains consistently tidy and well-organized at all times.
Promptly notify the supervisor of any machine malfunctions or potential safety hazards.
Seeking a candidate with a strong background in project management, proficient in agile methodologies and risk assessment, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. The ideal applicant will demonstrate five or more years of experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to evolving priorities and foster collaborative relationships across departments. Certification in PMP, Scrum, or Six Sigma is highly advantageous.
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required for this position. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities include performing routine tasks, managing schedules, and assisting with administrative duties as needed. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Additionally, proficiency in basic computer applications and a commitment to maintaining a professional demeanor are essential.
