Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the respective County Executive Committee Member as the Accounting and Authorized Officer for the Department.
Day-to-day administration and coordination of the respective county department per Section 46 of the County Government Act.
Providing strategic policy direction for effective service delivery.
Implementing policies and programs within the department.
Developing and implementing strategic plans, sector development goals, and performance management.
Formulating and implementing effective programs to attain Vision 2030.
Overseeing management of finances, budget estimates, annual work plans, and programs.
Requirements
Be a Kenyan citizen.
First degree in a relevant field from a university recognized in Kenya.
Five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
Knowledge and experience in Programme Based Budgeting, Planning, and Financial Analysis.
Thorough understanding of Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya and Vision 2030.
A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
