What you’ll do:
As the University Guidance Counselor, you will be instrumental in shaping students’ educational trajectories by providing expert support throughout the university application process and equipping them with the tools necessary for long-term success. Your core duties will encompass the following responsibilities:
Professional Rewriting:
You will accompany students through each phase of the university application journey, assisting with university shortlisting and scholarship acquisition while maintaining a thorough grasp of international pathways and British Curriculum prerequisites.
Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, school administrators, and academic departments to track student performance and provide well-informed recommendations.
Enhancing Extracurricular Opportunities involves designing and implementing programs to elevate students’ academic engagement while coordinating career-focused events, workshops, and mentoring sessions.
Establishing and nurturing collaborations with universities, with a particular emphasis on institutions in Africa and other international regions, as well as overseeing university application platforms and digital solutions.
Develop and nurture a robust alumni network to empower current and former students throughout their academic and professional pursuits.

Possessing exceptional communication and presentation abilities is essential for drafting persuasive recommendation letters, advising students and parents, fostering productive relationships with faculty and higher education institutions, and cultivating a positive rapport within the school community.
Proficiency in data management and digital tools is essential to effectively manage student application data, monitor progress, generate reports, and utilize digital platforms with efficiency.
A solid understanding of African and international universities enables us to provide students with a diverse array of academic options, ensuring they identify the most suitable programs for their goals.
Possessing strong creative and event management skills is essential for effectively coordinating career fairs, workshops, and other student enrichment initiatives, all of which play a pivotal role in expanding students’ professional and personal horizons.
