Our client is in pursuit of a proactive and results-oriented Sales Executive to spearhead the growth of our corporate client base. The ideal candidate will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities, cultivating enduring customer relationships, and meeting sales targets within the stationery and office supplies industry.

This role represents the inaugural sales position within a strategic growth initiative, providing the potential to scale into leadership roles within an expanding sales organization as the company evolves.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties including managing projects from inception to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of processes, and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Lead initiatives to improve quality standards, monitor performance metrics to identify areas for optimization, and provide actionable insights derived from data analysis. Foster a culture of accountability by delegating tasks effectively, mentoring team members, and aligning individual goals with organizational objectives. Additionally, ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies while maintaining transparent communication with stakeholders at all levels.

We are seeking to expand our client base by actively pursuing and securing new corporate clients, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, and wholesale distributors.

Demonstrate and drive sales of office stationery, educational materials, office consumables, printer toners, ink cartridges, and associated products.

Engage in client-facing interactions by conducting on-site visits, delivering compelling presentations, and providing product demonstrations as needed.

Develop and sustain enduring customer connections through consistent engagement and support.

Develop and submit detailed quotations while actively pursuing sales opportunities to ensure timely follow-through and potential conversions.

Collect payments from onboarded clients promptly to maintain financial efficiency.

Responsibilities include generating monthly revenue of KES 1,000,000 to meet sales targets, ensuring consistent performance and business growth through effective client engagement and strategic sales techniques.

Accurately document all sales activities and customer interactions to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.

Track market developments and uncover fresh avenues for business expansion.

Requirements

Applicants are required to possess prior sales experience in the stationery, office supplies, or printing industries.

Exceptional ability to communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and cultivate meaningful professional relationships is essential.

A proactive professional who excels in autonomous fieldwork with minimal supervision.

Possesses strong organizational and time-management capabilities, enabling efficient prioritization and task completion within deadlines.
