The primary objective of this role is to oversee and execute key responsibilities essential to achieving organizational goals. This role involves supporting the strategic planning and daily operations to ensure the Business Development Function (covering General Business and Medical) operates effectively and efficiently for broker and tender initiatives. Additionally, the position is tasked with expanding assigned broker accounts and maintaining high standards in the preparation and management of tender documentation.

Minimum qualifications include a demonstrated understanding of the relevant field along with applicable professional experience. Candidates must possess a solid foundation of knowledge in the specified area to meet the essential requirements of the role. Additionally, prior work experience in a comparable position is necessary to ensure competency and readiness for the responsibilities associated with this opportunity.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in the field, preferably within a similar industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills, is essential. Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail are required to interpret data accurately and efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional certification is preferred.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Public Relations, or a related field within the social sciences is required.

Fellow or Associate members of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or equivalent qualifications, including Chartered Marketer status, are required.

A minimum of four years of managerial experience is required.

Knowledge

Individuals should possess comprehensive expertise in both General and Medical insurance domains, encompassing policy structures, coverage options, and regulatory frameworks to ensure accurate guidance and compliance.

Business development, underwriting, claims management, strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods are among the key areas of responsibility.

Demonstrates exceptional professionalism and integrity in all professional interactions and decision-making processes.
