About the Role

Our client is in search of a dynamic and goal-oriented Sales Executive to drive the expansion of our corporate client base. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying new business prospects, cultivating enduring customer relationships, and consistently meeting sales targets within the stationery and office supplies industry.

As the inaugural sales hire within a strategic growth initiative, this position presents the chance to evolve into leadership roles within an expanding sales team as the organization continues to develop.

Oversee a comprehensive set of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to drive organizational success and ensure alignment with company objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance across all business functions. Collaborate closely with senior management to define goals, allocate resources, and monitor performance metrics to achieve targeted outcomes. Lead cross-functional initiatives, fostering innovation and continuous improvement while maintaining high standards of accountability and transparency. Serve as a key liaison between departments, stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate seamless communication and resolve operational challenges.

Identify and secure new corporate clients, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, and wholesale buyers.

Demonstrate and market a diverse range of office stationery, educational supplies, office consumables, printer toners, ink cartridges, and complementary products to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.

Facilitate in-person client engagements, delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations as required.

Foster lasting partnerships with clients to ensure sustained engagement and mutual growth.

Develop and submit pricing proposals while actively pursuing potential sales leads to drive revenue growth.

Ensure all client payments are collected in a timely and efficient manner.

To meet a monthly sales target of KES 1,000,000 in revenue.

Accurately document sales activities and customer interactions to ensure precise record-keeping.

Conduct ongoing research to track emerging market trends and uncover potential business opportunities for expansion or innovation.

Seeking a highly motivated professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, along with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in industry-standard software and tools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, adaptability to changing environments, and a commitment to continuous learning. Additional requirements include the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and data privacy standards is also preferred.

Candidates are required to possess prior sales experience specifically within the stationery, office supplies, or printing industries.

Exceptional ability to communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and cultivate meaningful professional relationships is essential.

Proactively manages tasks and operates autonomously to deliver results in field-based roles.

Demonstrates strong organizational capabilities and effective time-management proficiency.

Consistently achieve and surpass predefined sales goals and objectives.

Expertise in fundamental computer software and applications is required.
