Job Summary
Rivet Software & Systems Ltd. seeks a proactive and dependable Onsite Technician to strengthen our expanding team. The successful applicant will provide onsite technical support, execute system installations and maintenance, perform troubleshooting, and deliver customer assistance for our software and hardware solutions.
Oversee the execution of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives through meticulous planning and coordination. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency. Monitor performance metrics to identify trends, address deviations, and implement corrective measures as needed. Develop and maintain comprehensive reports to track progress, support decision-making, and ensure transparency. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, fostering clear communication and resolving escalated issues promptly. Uphold compliance with industry regulations and internal policies to mitigate risks and maintain organizational integrity.
Deliver onsite technical assistance and resolve system issues through comprehensive troubleshooting.
Install, deploy, configure, and manage software and hardware infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Provide clients with assistance in system configuration and user support services.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues with efficiency and precision.
Perform systematic maintenance and comprehensive system inspections to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
Provide user training on system operations as needed to ensure proficiency and effective utilization.
Draft comprehensive technical documents and periodic progress reports to ensure clear, accurate communication of findings and developments.
Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain clear, effective communication with clients to ensure their needs are met promptly and professionally.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Proven experience of no less than three years in software development, preferably within a software engineering capacity. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking are critical. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective collaboration. Capability to work independently as well as part of a team is highly valued. Knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum is preferred.
A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a comparable discipline is required.
A foundational knowledge of computer systems, network infrastructure, and software troubleshooting is required.
Proficient communication abilities and strong interpersonal competencies are essential for fostering collaborative relationships and facilitating effective teamwork. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the capacity to articulate ideas clearly, engage with diverse stakeholders, and cultivate a positive work environment through active listening and empathy.
Proven capability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight while maintaining accountability for individual performance and adherence to established procedures.
Demonstrates exceptional analytical abilities to identify, evaluate, and resolve complex challenges efficiently and effectively.
Technical support or fieldwork experience would be highly beneficial.
