Job Summary

The Solutions Consultant represents an advancement of the conventional Sales Engineering position, focusing on optimizing how we assist customers in comprehending their unique environments, offering tailored solution recommendations, and guaranteeing the realization of value from their investment in Palo Alto Networks. In this role, you will deliver technical leadership, expertise, and guidance throughout the customer’s security transformation journey. You will champion our industry leadership across on-premises, cloud, and security operations services, solidifying Palo Alto Networks as the trusted cybersecurity partner for our customers.

Proactively engaging with relevant technical stakeholders and nurturing relationships with key personas to establish and advance a comprehensive security architecture transformation roadmap.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by three or more years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Familiarity with software development methodologies, version control systems, and agile practices is required. Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment are also necessary.

With a minimum of six years of experience in pre-sales and sales engineering, candidates should possess a proven track record in driving technical solutions and fostering client relationships to support revenue growth.

Proficient in one or more of the following domains: Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, or SASE.

Proficiency in implementing cybersecurity solutions that address complex technical issues and drive innovative business strategies is highly advantageous. Demonstrating strong capabilities in engaging and securing support from pivotal stakeholders, whether in direct client interactions or internal settings, is essential; prior involvement in a pre-sales capacity is particularly beneficial.

Developing and delivering engaging technical presentations, workshops, or validation sessions to demonstrate solutions and ensure customer success is a core responsibility of this role.

Professional candidates should possess hands-on experience in the sales, design, implementation, or management of Network Security, SASE, SaaS, KNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation technologies.

Collaborating closely with Customer Support teams, we aim to facilitate the seamless execution and widespread adoption of implemented solutions.

Preferred candidates will possess a proven track record in intricate sales engagements, particularly those characterized by protracted sales cycles and the involvement of numerous decision-making stakeholders. Additionally, experience with multi-product solution offerings is highly valued.

This role involves significant field sales responsibilities, with potential travel obligations to facilitate face-to-face client engagements; specific details regarding travel expectations will be clarified directly with the recruiter.
