What You’ll Do
Execute consumer marketing initiatives throughout East Africa and provide assistance for culturally tailored campaigns in other Sub-Saharan African markets.
Collaborate closely with diverse teams spanning marketing, music, partnerships, media, analytics, and creative to develop and execute comprehensive campaigns from initial strategy to final implementation.
Leverage both platform-based and external data sources to uncover key audience patterns, emerging market trends, and pivotal growth catalysts, enabling the development of data-driven marketing strategies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to craft comprehensive creative and media briefs that clearly communicate project objectives and requirements.
Develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at acquiring, engaging, and retaining audiences across both Free and Premium tiers.
Develop and cultivate strategic alliances with local collaborators, including influencers, agencies, and cultural hubs, to amplify brand visibility and enhance consumer engagement.
Conduct in-depth evaluations of campaign effectiveness and distill key insights to inform strategic decisions for upcoming initiatives and market approaches.
Global marketing strategies must be tailored to align with local preferences and cultural nuances, ensuring relevance and resonance among diverse consumer groups and varying market conditions.
Facilitate collaborative initiatives with internal teams and regional partners to amplify local music and cultural marketing opportunities.
Who You Are
With a minimum of four years of experience in consumer marketing, brand marketing, or campaign management within East Africa, you demonstrate a strong foundation in the region’s dynamic market landscape.
With a proven track record in executing strategies across diverse Sub-Saharan African markets or regional campaigns, you bring valuable experience to the role.
You possess a robust background in brand strategy, consumer insights, digital marketing, media, or project management, among other relevant areas.
You possess a strong track record of executing high-impact campaigns in dynamic digital environments, spanning sectors such as FMCG, retail, entertainment, or technology.
You possess the ability to convert consumer and cultural insights into compelling marketing strategies and campaigns that drive results.
You excel at leveraging data and performance metrics to assess outcomes and enhance marketing efficiency.
You must adeptly balance competing priorities while ensuring meticulous attention to detail and consistently high standards in execution.
