Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership to ensure organizational goals are met efficiently. Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align initiatives with broader company objectives while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. Monitor performance metrics and key indicators to identify areas for improvement, driving continuous enhancements in workflow and quality. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, supporting their growth and aligning individual goals with organizational success. Represent the department in senior leadership meetings, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to inform strategic decisions.

Develop, manage, and ensure the seamless execution of daily estate and packhorse activities while adhering to established production goals and stringent quality benchmarks.

Foster agronomic proficiency by overseeing crop management, implementing pest and disease mitigation strategies, and enhancing orchard productivity.

Oversee the operations of the packhorse to ensure maximum pack-out rates and throughput are achieved while upholding the stringent export quality standards.

Responsibilities include developing and overseeing budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost-effective operations to align with financial objectives.

Optimize the allocation and utilization of available resources to drive improvements in productivity and operational efficiency.

Ensures adherence to established company policies, meets all audit obligations, and upholds corporate governance standards.

Ensure the upkeep of estate infrastructure, assets, and adherence to field hygiene standards.

Foster positive labor relations, maintain strict staff discipline, and oversee performance management initiatives.

Promote and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain operational integrity and safeguard personnel and assets.

Perform additional responsibilities as directed by management to support operational needs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, coupled with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal applicant will demonstrate exceptional communication abilities and a track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments. Prior leadership or project management experience is highly advantageous.

A diploma or degree in agriculture or a related discipline is required for this position.

With a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in field husbandry, packhorse management, budget preparation, cost control, and financial management.

Proven ability to lead teams and manage personnel effectively, coupled with exceptional administrative proficiency and a talent for preparing comprehensive reports.

Demonstrated proficiency in operational management and strategic planning is essential.

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in both verbal and written communication, along with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships through effective interpersonal interactions.
