As a Domain Consultant specializing in network security transformation, you deliver expert technical guidance and strategic support to customers throughout their network security initiatives and zero trust adoption. Central to your role is the development of tailored technical solutions that address a customer’s critical business priorities. You champion Palo Alto Networks’ industry-leading capabilities in on-premises, cloud, and security services, reinforcing our position as a trusted cybersecurity partner for customers.
Oversee and execute critical operational tasks to ensure seamless business performance, including managing daily workflows, supervising team activities, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and productivity. Develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive growth, optimize processes, and enhance overall organizational effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align objectives, resolve challenges, and foster a cohesive working environment. Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership for informed decision-making. Conduct and facilitate customer presentations to effectively demonstrate our distinctive value proposition.
Ensures the successful technical validation of projects for prospective customers and partners by implementing industry best practices, thereby securing technical wins in designated opportunities.
Design and implement innovative solutions aimed at enhancing and streamlining our customers’ security frameworks.
Document key use cases and craft high-level designs to facilitate the correct implementation and maximize the value derived from Palo Alto Networks solutions.
Facilitate discussions on current industry trends and upcoming transformations within the security landscape.
Responsible for engaging in discussions to emphasize how products meet customer needs and stand out from alternatives.
As the primary technical liaison for Network Security, you will actively engage and collaborate to address RBIs and RFPs, positioning Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services as needed to guarantee seamless implementation and maximize the value derived from Palo Alto Networks solutions.
Analyze competitive offerings in the marketplace with credibility and effectively position our solution as the premier option.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with experience in software development lifecycle methodologies. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are also necessary. Additionally, familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred.
Your Experience
Professionals with a proven track record in pre-sales or sales engineering roles, particularly within Zero Trust, networking, network security, SaaS security, or SSE/SASE domains, are encouraged to apply.
Exceptional aptitude in customer interaction and resolution of inquiries distinguishes top-tier candidates, with a strong emphasis on clear, professional communication and analytical thinking to address concerns efficiently.
Professional experience in customer-facing roles, coupled with a strong aptitude for resolving inquiries efficiently and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
A strong working knowledge of Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW), network security architectures, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASE) solutions, proxy technologies, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) mechanisms, and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) frameworks is required.
Advanced expertise in both On-Premise and Cloud-Based Network Security Solutions is essential, encompassing a deep understanding of their architecture, deployment methodologies, and operational frameworks. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in implementing, managing, and troubleshooting security technologies across diverse environments, ensuring robust protection against evolving cyber threats.
