Develop and implement a targeted retail strategy that encompasses key customer segments, product lines, sales channels, and distribution approaches, all while adhering to established risk parameters.

Deliver strategic direction and comprehensive management of the branch network to enhance deposit growth, optimize loan quality, expand customer acquisition, and increase transaction volumes.

Enhance Retail Banking financial performance by increasing profitability, expanding deposits and lending, and optimizing operational efficiency to meet established business targets.

Ensure the fulfillment of individual performance targets and the attainment of Retail Banking business objectives, in alignment with the Bank’s performance management framework.

Drive disciplined growth in retail lending while maintaining full accountability for portfolio quality, focusing on reducing non-performing loans (NPLs), enhancing recoveries, facilitating restructures, and implementing portfolio remediation measures.

Enhance credit underwriting standards, portfolio monitoring, early warning systems, and risk controls to mitigate the recurrence of historical asset quality issues.

Establish and uphold definitive performance benchmarks for Branch Managers and Retail teams, focusing on sales targets, service excellence, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation strategies.

Drive operational efficiency, streamline processes through automation, facilitate channel migration, and implement cost optimization initiatives to enhance productivity and minimize cost-to-serve.

Ensure adherence to all CBK regulations, internal policies, audit mandates, and governance standards within the Retail Banking division.

Transform teams within Retail Banking by inspiring leadership, driving motivation, and cultivating an environment that prioritizes high performance, accountability, customer satisfaction, and risk consciousness.

Identify potential avenues for growth and collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to craft, price, and introduce customized products or services for retail and high-value clients, while also tracking their performance.

Collaborate closely with branch managers to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at revitalizing and restoring profitability to underperforming branches.

Performs additional duties as required to meet operational needs.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting. Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial data are required. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to stakeholders are also necessary. A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a closely related discipline is required.
