Effectively convey updates regarding suspended accounts and revised operational procedures to the admissions, registration, and billing teams.
Review insurance cover limits for both insurance-funded and company-funded patients, and initiate extension requests when necessary. In instances where a patient’s bill exceeds the predetermined threshold, coordinate with the relevant corporate entity to secure an interim payment.
Constantly monitor and manage allocation processes for all incoming receipts to maintain seamless operations.
Diligently review patient invoices and provide clear, timely guidance to patients and their next of kin regarding billing matters.
Responsibilities include coordinating with the billing team to address invoiced items returned for credit control-related concerns and resolving associated discrepancies.
Monthly client statements are prepared and dispatched on a regular schedule.
Maintain timely collection of hospital funds in adherence to predefined deadlines by consistently meeting monthly collection targets.
Ensure all company-incurred expenses are accompanied by verifiable documentation to substantiate payment.
Monthly meetings will be scheduled with corporate clients to reconcile accounts and update the Credit Manager – Corporate on progress.
Promptly respond to client queries while maintaining an organized filing system for correspondence, incorporating a bring-forward mechanism to guarantee timely follow-ups.
Assess the status of debt collection activities and provide input towards the establishment of updated targets.
Prepare and submit daily collection reports as well as a monthly analysis of outstanding items to the Credit Manager-Corporate within a 120-day timeframe.
Deliver comprehensive, actionable insights to the Credit Manager concerning corporate clients’ perspectives on Hospital services to support informed decision-making.
Engage in departmental quality enhancement efforts and prepare reports as needed.

A university degree in Commerce with a specialization in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.
CPA II or ARCA II certification is required for this role.
A minimum of three years of directly applicable professional experience is required.
