Proven is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales & Business Development Executive to spearhead the expansion of its market presence in Kenya and across the region. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong drive for targets and a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.

This position entails prospecting for new business, finalizing sales agreements, fostering client connections, executing outreach initiatives, and expanding corporate partnerships. The successful candidate will be tasked with cultivating and sustaining a robust sales pipeline, achieved through pinpointing high-value business opportunities and potential clients. The primary objective is to consistently surpass monthly and annual targets while driving revenue growth.

Our role encompasses a diverse range of duties, including overseeing daily operations, managing team performance, and ensuring adherence to company policies. We are tasked with developing strategic plans to enhance productivity and efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality. Develop and nurture a robust sales pipeline while fostering enduring connections with potential clients.

Explore untapped markets and strategic avenues to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.

Formulate and execute strategic sales initiatives designed to attain established corporate sales objectives.

Craft and finalize contract proposals and sales agreements in collaboration with clients and business partners to ensure mutual understanding and adherence to terms.

Develop and nurture enduring partnerships with current clients to foster high levels of satisfaction and long-term retention.

Identify and nurture qualified prospects, guiding them seamlessly through every stage of the sales journey.

Conduct thorough research to pinpoint and engage prospective clients in alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Perform proactive outreach through outbound calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn and other social media platforms, as well as additional prospecting initiatives to generate leads and engage potential clients.

Proactively establish meetings by initiating outreach and cultivating professional connections.

Engage actively in the preparation, submission, and evaluation of bids and tenders to secure new business opportunities.

Deliver compelling sales presentations and perform detailed product demonstrations tailored to prospective clients to effectively showcase value propositions and drive engagement.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline or relevant professional experience is required.

Professionals with a minimum of two years of experience in corporate sales are encouraged to apply.

With a demonstrated track record of successfully finalizing sales transactions, candidates should exhibit a strong ability to secure deals and drive revenue growth. Experience in meeting or exceeding sales targets through strategic negotiation and relationship-building is essential. Candidates must possess a keen understanding of the sales process, from prospecting to closing, ensuring consistent performance and client satisfaction.
