As a Drilling TRS Crew Member, you will be positioned at the core of rig operations, contributing to essential tubular running tasks critical to well construction. Your responsibilities will include operating mechanical and hydraulic TRS equipment, aiding in rig up and rig down procedures, and ensuring the secure handling of casing, tubing, and associated tools.
As a Drilling TRS Crew Member, your duties will include maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards while assisting in drilling operations. You will collaborate with the crew to ensure equipment functionality, follow established protocols, and contribute to the overall productivity of the drilling site. Your role will involve performing routine inspections, monitoring drilling parameters, and promptly addressing any mechanical or technical issues that may arise. Additionally, you must adhere to company safety guidelines, environmental regulations, and industry best practices to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities include the safe and proficient operation of TRS equipment, encompassing power tongs, elevators, slips, spiders, torque-turn systems, and hydraulic power units.
Assisting in the assembly and disassembly of TRS equipment, such as stabbing boards, power units, and tubular handling tools.
Effective communication must be maintained with the drill floor operator, clients, and subcontracted personnel to facilitate seamless and secure operational coordination.
Conducting preliminary troubleshooting, inspections, and routine maintenance of TRS equipment prior to, during, and following operational procedures.
Responsibilities include upholding adherence to all safety protocols, participating in rig safety meetings, and promptly reporting any hazards or operational concerns.
Preparing job documentation, compiling activity reports, and performing operational tasks as directed by the Operations Coordinator are key responsibilities.

Proficiency in the oil and gas industry is essential, with a preference for candidates possessing prior field experience in drilling operations or related technical roles.
Demonstrates a solid mechanical aptitude along with proficiency in the safe and accurate operation of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
Capable of collaborating productively with rig crews, supervisors, and clients under demanding conditions while maintaining clear and professional communication.
Educational requirements include a two-year technical degree or an equivalent combination of specialized training and hands-on field experience.
Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities while adhering to established procedures, conducting thorough equipment inspections, and ensuring continuous operational readiness.
Capable of traveling for both onshore and offshore assignments, this role requires flexibility to accommodate variable schedules, including on-call duties and shift-based operations.
