Job Summary

The Doctor Liaison Officer will proactively cultivate strong partnerships with physicians currently affiliated with 3rd Park Hospital, ensuring they receive comprehensive support to enhance their professional scope and deliver high-quality care. By identifying avenues to boost physician retention, addressing communication barriers, and promoting the hospital’s evolving capabilities and services, the role fosters seamless collaboration and awareness among medical professionals.

Oversee the execution of core duties, including developing and implementing strategic plans, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, foster innovation, and drive sustainable growth. Monitor performance metrics, identify key trends, and implement data-driven solutions to optimize outcomes. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align on priorities, allocate resources effectively, and mitigate potential risks. Maintain a strong focus on leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve long-term success.

Develop and nurture robust professional connections with admitting and referring physicians to enhance collaboration and ensure seamless patient care.

Support patient referral processes and inter-specialty coordination

Address communication inefficiencies to foster a more cohesive environment, ultimately enhancing physician satisfaction and reducing turnover rates.

Serve as the primary liaison for addressing physicians’ inquiries and addressing their concerns.

Craft informative communications highlighting the latest advancements in hospital technologies, equipment, and services to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.

Gather and consolidate input from physicians, then ensure any critical issues are promptly communicated to senior leadership for resolution.

Collaborate effectively with insurance and finance teams to facilitate seamless pre-authorizations and payments.

Ensure precise documentation of physician engagements within the CRM system.

At networking events, seminars, and professional gatherings, you will serve as the official ambassador for the hospital, representing its mission, values, and interests with professionalism and engagement.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a comparable discipline is required.

Requires 4 to 5 years of professional experience in healthcare sales, physician engagement, or a comparable liaison position.

Effective communication, the ability to build and maintain professional networks, and adept relationship management skills are essential for this role.

Requires solid expertise in Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management platforms.

Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with hospital operational frameworks are essential for this role.

The metrics used to evaluate performance will encompass Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), which include both quantitative benchmarks and qualitative assessments to measure effectiveness and progress. These indicators will serve as critical tools for monitoring goal attainment, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Regular monitoring and analysis of KPIs will enable data-driven decision-making, fostering continuous growth and operational excellence.

Significant growth in the volume of patient referrals has been observed.

Specialties must maintain a steadfast roster of physicians to ensure uninterrupted, high-quality patient care. Each department requires a dedicated team of doctors specializing in distinct areas of medicine to deliver specialized treatments and maintain operational efficiency. Consistency in staffing levels across specialties is essential for seamless workflows, continuity of care, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Ensure regular face-to-face interactions are conducted with referring physicians to maintain strong professional relationships and facilitate seamless patient referrals.
