JOB PURPOSE:

To cultivate new sales opportunities through existing and prospective customer networks, manage a diverse portfolio of accounts, and ensure customer needs and requests are promptly addressed, you must respond to inquiries efficiently while delivering outstanding customer experiences. A strong command of communication and negotiation, coupled with a customer-centric mindset, is essential. Your ability to foster successful, long-term client relationships will be instrumental in driving business growth.

Assume responsibility for overseeing team activities and decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Exercise authority to delegate tasks, approve expenditures within budgetary limits, and resolve conflicts while maintaining accountability for outcomes. Evaluate performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and report progress to senior management. Foster an environment of transparency and professional development to support both individual and collective success.

The incumbent demonstrates proactive decision-making and autonomous problem-solving in executing assigned responsibilities.

The role encompasses a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities designed to ensure operational excellence and strategic alignment. Key tasks include overseeing project execution, managing cross-functional teams, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing performance metrics, and providing regular reports to senior leadership to support data-driven decision-making. Strong communication skills and the capacity to mentor junior staff are also essential for fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Craft and implement sales strategies specifically designed to engage Government Ministries, Agencies, and County Governments.

Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the public sector by leveraging strategic relationships and market insights to expand the organization’s reach and revenue streams.

Develop and sustain meaningful connections with influential decision-makers and key stakeholders.

Direct oversight of tendering initiatives, preparation of comprehensive proposals, and facilitation of contract negotiations are essential duties for this position.

To fuel revenue expansion, ensure sales targets are consistently met, and support the attainment of broader organizational goals.

Work collaboratively with diverse teams across the organization to develop customized client solutions while ensuring outstanding service delivery.

Perform additional assignments as directed by the General Manager, including but not limited to special projects, operational tasks, or other responsibilities deemed necessary for the effective functioning of the department.

Minimum Qualification:

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration, is required. Additionally, a minimum of three years of professional experience in a related industry is necessary. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data interpretation, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is also expected.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required for this position.
