The primary responsibilities associated with this role comprise:

Our role involves mobilizing clients, which accounts for 10% of responsibilities.

Engage and onboard qualifying entrepreneurs who meet the established program criteria.

Convey program specifics to community participants and verify receipt of all communications.

As an Ambassador for Inkomoko, you will engage with existing community structures, representing the organization with professionalism and dedication. This role involves actively participating in outreach initiatives to strengthen Inkomoko’s presence and impact within these communities.

Provide guidance on the criteria for participants that align with the organizational culture and the existing business landscape within the community.

Ensure leadership at Komodo is promptly informed of any obstacles encountered by participants throughout the program execution.

We’re seeking a candidate committed to dedicating 40% of their role to training initiatives, ensuring team members acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for sustained success. This includes designing engaging learning programs, facilitating workshops, and providing ongoing mentorship to enhance individual and organizational performance. The position requires the ability to assess training needs, develop customized content, and evaluate program effectiveness to support continuous improvement and alignment with strategic objectives.

Ensure every entrepreneur in the program receives timely notifications and participates fully in all training sessions.

Handle all logistical aspects of training sessions, including the preparation and distribution of training materials, the setup of the training venue, the tracking of participant attendance, and the timely commencement of each session.

Deliver training sessions utilizing Inkomoko’s training resources in Somali, Kiswahili, and English to ensure comprehensive and accessible instruction.

Provide recommendations to the Senior Trainer regarding required enhancements to the training modules.

Ensure all training programs are completed promptly and within the allocated budgetary constraints.

Business Consulting & Client Relationship Management (40%)

You will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic business consulting services while cultivating and sustaining strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth assessments of client needs, designing actionable strategies, and overseeing the implementation of initiatives to drive measurable results. Prepare comprehensive cash flow statements and perform thorough profitability analyses in collaboration with clients to provide detailed financial insights and strategic recommendations.

Deliver expert, forward-thinking, and pragmatic guidance to empower clients in achieving their goals—or realigning those goals to enhance sustainability and profitability.

We conduct regular site visits to offer immediate advisory support, addressing evolving business needs to foster sustainable growth.

As part of this role, you will facilitate client connections to Kokomo’s additional services, such as specialized training programs and financial resources, ensuring they maximize the full range of available support to enhance their business growth.

Ensure clients’ business information remains current and precise at all times.

Assist investment team members by facilitating investment applications, conducting thorough due diligence, and processing clients’ credit payments.

Community activities coordination and administration entails overseeing ten percent of operational tasks, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and evaluation of initiatives that foster engagement and collaboration within the organization. This role involves meticulous scheduling, resource allocation, and logistical support to maintain efficiency and alignment with strategic objectives. Foster strong connections with partners and local authorities in Lower to facilitate seamless collaboration and mutual support.

Prepare weekly and monthly reports promptly and consistently.

Represent Inkomoko’s interests and initiatives in the Lower region with professionalism and dedication.

Collaborate effectively with the Senior Business Development Advisor and Business Development Manager to coordinate and execute community engagement initiatives.

Provide support to Inkomoko staff in managing all internal and external communications within the country.

Ensure all community activities are executed punctually and efficiently, maintaining strict adherence to established schedules and deadlines.

Support the Monitoring and Evaluation team by participating in surveys and data collection efforts based in Lower.

Offer comprehensive administrative assistance as required to ensure efficient office operations and support for all staff members.

Execute any additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by management.

Seeking a highly motivated individual with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the field, preferably holding a degree in a related discipline.
