Proven seeks a dynamic, results-oriented Sales & Business Development Executive to drive expansion across Kenya and the broader region, demonstrating a relentless commitment to aggressive target achievement and proactive initiative.

This position entails developing leads, finalizing sales, nurturing client connections, executing outreach initiatives, and expanding corporate accounts. The preferred candidate will be tasked with constructing and sustaining a robust sales pipeline by pinpointing critical business prospects and opportunities. Their objective will be to consistently meet and surpass established monthly and annual targets while driving revenue growth.

Oversee and execute a range of duties critical to the organization’s objectives, ensuring all tasks are completed with precision and efficiency. Collaborate across departments to align strategies, streamline processes, and enhance overall productivity. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and generate actionable insights to drive informed decision-making. Maintain compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Serve as a key liaison between leadership and operational teams, facilitating clear communication and seamless workflows to achieve strategic goals.

Craft and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet established corporate sales objectives effectively.

With clients and business partners, you will finalize contract proposals and sales agreements through strategic negotiation to ensure mutually beneficial terms.

Develop and nurture ongoing connections with current clients to foster satisfaction and ensure their continued engagement with the organization.

Identify and evaluate potential opportunities, then guide prospects seamlessly through every stage of the sales process.

Conduct thorough research to identify and pursue potential clients whose needs and objectives align with the company’s strategic direction.

Execute outbound outreach initiatives through phone calls, email communications, LinkedIn interactions, and other social media platforms, along with additional prospecting methods.

Proactively initiate and facilitate meetings by leveraging strategic outreach and building professional relationships.

Engage actively in the preparation and submission of bids and tenders to secure new business opportunities.

Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients to effectively showcase value propositions and drive engagement.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Minimum of five years of experience in software development is necessary, with proficiency in Java, Python, or C++ essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is an advantage. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team are mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also required. Knowledge of Agile methodologies is preferred.

A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline or comparable professional experience is required.

With a minimum of two years of practical experience in corporate sales, you will have developed a strong foundation in client relations and deal negotiation.
