Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in database management, software development methodologies, and cloud computing platforms. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are required. Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment, is highly desirable. Familiarity with DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and version control systems such as Git is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning are also necessary.
Individuals should possess hands-on experience in field-based sales roles, ideally within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
Professional experience in customer-facing positions, including direct sales and customer service, is required, along with the ability to consistently deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Proficient in both spoken and written English with fluency in Luganda is a requirement for this role.
