The Research Assistant will deliver specialized technical and logistical assistance to research projects within the Behavioral Chemical Ecology Unit. Primary duties involve cultivating and sustaining fly colonies, assembling experimental apparatus, and performing both behavioral and chemical assays. Additionally, the incumbent will manage data acquisition, analysis, and documentation while ensuring the proper upkeep of laboratory instruments. This role is pivotal to the seamless implementation of experiments and will play a direct role in advancing the project’s research goals.
