Our client, a prominent telecommunications provider, is seeking to appoint a Trade Development Representative to join their dynamic team.

The objective of this position is to oversee and execute key responsibilities that contribute to the organization’s objectives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while maintaining high standards of performance and accountability. This role involves managing a range of duties critical to operational success, including the development and implementation of processes, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and adherence to established policies and procedures. To prioritize on-site visits to retailers, enhancing brand recognition and improving SIM and Float performance while ensuring optimal visibility and merchandising standards at point-of-purchase for SOS and Trash agents.

Oversee a range of critical duties, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards. Facilitate communication between stakeholders and department heads to align on objectives and resolve any operational challenges. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures as needed. Develop and maintain comprehensive reports to track progress and present findings to senior leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and enhance productivity. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Effectively oversee the identification and recruitment of Agents, with a primary focus on mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores, while ensuring seamless Single Sign-On (SSO) integration.

Consistently meet or exceed call rate targets by conducting regular visits to SOS and Agents in accordance with predefined route plans (beat plans).

Provide all necessary operational tools for transactions at SSO and agent outlets, ensuring seamless functionality. Additionally, conduct comprehensive training sessions for SOS and Trash Agents on established processes to ensure proper utilization and adherence to protocols.

Conduct anti-money laundering (AML) training programs for agents, focusing on AML regulations and the Know Your Customer (KYC) process as it pertains to the SIM Registration (SIM REG) framework.

Float and stock management responsibilities include monitoring and enforcing the 1.5x stock rule for agents while guaranteeing that SOS maintain sufficient SIM inventory for seamless new registrations and activations.

Develop and uphold merchandising standards by ensuring the availability of promotional materials at SOS and Agent outlets.

We are seeking candidates who possess a robust academic foundation and relevant professional experience in the specified field.
