Position Summary
A highly organized and proactive Field Sales Representative is needed to spearhead product adoption and revenue expansion throughout Kenya. This position requires cultivating robust client connections, advocating premium offerings to medical facilities and clinics, and actively collaborating with dental professionals to elevate sales performance within the dental supplies sector.
Oversee a comprehensive set of critical duties encompassing core operational functions, strategic project execution, and cross-departmental coordination to drive organizational success. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with company objectives and regulatory compliance. Lead high-impact initiatives, manage stakeholder relationships, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with senior leadership to shape long-term business strategies, optimize resource allocation, and mitigate risks. Serve as a primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners, facilitating seamless communication and problem resolution. Position dental equipment, instruments, and consumables across dental clinics, hospitals, and healthcare institutions, fostering strong client relationships and driving sales through strategic engagement.
Examine and cultivate prospective business ventures by conducting on-site assessments, leveraging professional connections, and participating in relevant industry gatherings.
Cultivate enduring partnerships with dental professionals and pivotal stakeholders to foster mutual trust and collaboration.
Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations and training sessions designed to educate clients on proper usage, key advantages, and essential maintenance procedures.
Track and analyze competitor actions, pricing strategies, and evolving trends within the dental supplies’ industry, then compile and submit detailed reports on these observations.
Work collaboratively with logistics, technical, and marketing teams to guarantee punctual deliveries and outstanding client service.
Achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly sales objectives consistently.
Accurately document sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights to ensure precise record-keeping.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development, system administration, or IT support. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with familiarity with database management systems like SQL or NoSQL. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are required. Excellent communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams and stakeholders are also necessary.
A degree or diploma in Dentistry, Medical Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a closely related discipline is required.
Minimum 3 years of demonstrated sales expertise within the dental or medical supplies sector is essential.
A thorough understanding of dental equipment and products is preferred.
Skilled in delivering compelling presentations, conducting effective negotiations, and fostering strong interpersonal relationships.
Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is required.
Demonstrates flexibility and capability for regular travel across the designated geographic area.
