This position, which reports to the Head of Asset Finance & Leasing, is instrumental in advancing business expansion for the Asset Finance Unit. The Regional Manager will actively pursue and cultivate new business prospects by fostering robust partnerships with clients and essential asset dealers, including those specializing in vehicles and equipment, thereby supporting the bank’s strategic growth and performance objectives.

As a mid-level leader, this position bridges the bank and its partners, serving as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador. This position, based in strategic vehicle and equipment hub towns nationwide, demands adaptability and practical involvement to successfully assist branches, partners, and customers within the designated area. Oversee the core duties associated with this role, including driving strategic initiatives, managing cross-functional projects, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Facilitate effective communication between teams to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. Conduct regular performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback to team members. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and implement policies that support operational excellence. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making. Maintain rigorous compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies to mitigate risks. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through targeted training and professional development programs. Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of key metrics to track progress toward established goals.

Proactively establish and nurture relationships with asset dealers—including those specializing in vehicles and equipment—by conducting consistent on-site visits to cultivate high-quality business leads aligned with Asset Finance growth objectives.

Construct and sustain a robust, dynamic deal pipeline by engaging medium and large SMEs, PSV Sacco, and fleet operators, particularly those with existing asset financing requirements.

Develop, negotiate, and oversee joint marketing and promotional programs with asset dealers to boost business volumes, ensuring seamless implementation across branches and relevant teams.

We seek a dynamic professional who will proactively uncover and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities across various banking products—including current and savings accounts (CASA), insurance, investments, and trade services—to strengthen and expand customer relationships.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional internal teams and departments to gain comprehensive insights into customer requirements and provide customized asset finance solutions, simultaneously contributing to the expansion of the customer base.

Coordinate product training initiatives while engaging in hands-on marketing efforts in collaboration with vendors, dealers, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements & Competencies: A minimum of five years of progressive experience in a comparable role is required, along with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Human Resources, or Finance. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are also necessary. Familiarity with employment law, compensation structures, and benefits administration is highly advantageous.

A recognized university must confer a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline.

A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in financial services is required, with a strong preference for applicants who have worked in credit, asset finance, or direct sales within the motor vehicle or equipment industries.

Proven expertise in cultivating business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving measurable revenue expansion.

Proficient in understanding the local landscape of vehicle and equipment financing, encompassing essential industry participants, target customer groups, and prevailing market dynamics.

Demonstrates a strong track record in deal origination, pipeline management, and successful transaction execution.

A degree or certification in Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline would be highly beneficial.
