About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Asset Finance & Leasing, this role plays a pivotal part in driving business growth within the Asset Finance Unit. The Regional Manager will proactively identify and develop new business opportunities by building strong relationships with customers and key asset dealers (vehicles and equipment), directly contributing to the bank’s growth and performance targets.
This position, serving as a mid-level leader, functions as a pivotal intermediary between the bank and its partners, embodying the role of a trusted advisor and brand ambassador. The ideal candidate must exhibit exceptional professionalism, business insight, and ethical standards while cultivating high-value partnerships and providing client-centric solutions.
Based in strategically located vehicle and equipment hub towns nationwide, this position demands adaptability and practical engagement to successfully assist branches, partners, and clients throughout the designated territory. Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing the planning, execution, and evaluation of projects to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement strategic initiatives while monitoring progress through established metrics and KPIs. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to foster innovation, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency. Provide leadership in decision-making, problem-solving, and risk management to mitigate potential challenges and drive sustainable growth. Maintain rigorous adherence to compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout all operational activities.
Regularly interact with asset dealers—specializing in vehicles and equipment—through on-site visits to cultivate high-quality business leads aligned with Asset Finance expansion objectives.
Develop and oversee a robust, high-activity deal pipeline by engaging medium and large SMEs, PSV Sacco, and fleet operators, while also prioritizing clients with existing or pending asset financing requirements.
Develop, negotiate, and oversee joint marketing and promotional strategies with asset dealers to boost business volumes, while ensuring seamless implementation across branches and relevant teams.
Proactively uncover and capitalize on cross-selling prospects across diverse banking products—including current and savings accounts (CASA), insurance, investment solutions, and trade services—to strengthen customer engagement and loyalty.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and departments to thoroughly assess customer needs, designing customized asset finance solutions that foster business growth and expand the customer base.
Collaborate with vendors, dealers, and internal stakeholders to deliver product training sessions and support on-site marketing initiatives.
Collect and evaluate market intelligence—such as customer feedback and competitor actions—to drive ongoing enhancements and the creation of tailored, customer-centric products.

Skills & Qualifications:
A recognized university must confer a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a closely related discipline.
A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in financial services is required, with a strong emphasis on candidates who have direct exposure to credit, asset finance, or front-line sales within the motor vehicle or equipment industries.
Proven success in cultivating business opportunities, nurturing key relationships, and driving revenue expansion.
Demonstrates deep expertise in the regional vehicle and equipment financing sector, encompassing a thorough understanding of prominent industry stakeholders, target customer groups, and prevailing market dynamics.
Demonstrates a track record of successfully sourcing deals, cultivating robust pipelines, and executing transactions with precision.
A degree or certification in Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline is highly advantageous.
