Responsible for processing IDF applications for all Pro forma Invoices as part of the Czarnikow shipping desk operations.
To facilitate the timely filing of C60 (EG PSP) applications with the Treasury, the role involves preparing and submitting these applications as required. This includes coordinating all necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with established guidelines and deadlines throughout the submission process.
We will regularly liaise with Czarnikow to obtain and monitor updates on the shipping schedules for all shipments associated with the various IDF.
Upon completion of assessments, the successful candidate will liaise with certification bodies to obtain Conformity Certificates.
We are responsible for monitoring the progress of sugar permits, applications, and approvals with the Czarnikow shipping desk.

Experience: 5–7 years of experience in systems engineering or a related field

Upon receipt of containers from the Port, they must be promptly stripped, and the empties immediately returned to the designated stack.
Maintaining accurate stock records is essential for effective stock control across all warehouses located in Kenya and Uganda.
Monitoring Czarnikow’s inventory to identify low stock levels and promptly notifying the relevant teams, as well as overseeing the efficient dispatch and delivery of sugar from warehouse facilities.
Responsibilities include providing clients with timely updates on sugar market trends and fluctuations, while ensuring that all stock balances are accurately aligned with Czamikow’s records.
Overseeing invoicing procedures and payment processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial policies and regulations. Managing the preparation, issuance, and tracking of invoices while coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies. Handling payment collections, reconciling accounts, and maintaining detailed records to support financial reporting and audits. Accurate processing of all invoices is essential, with each one prepared in strict accordance with the agreed-upon rates.

Additionally, overseeing the payment of AGL accounts for both local and transit invoices in strict accordance with the established agreement.
