Job Description

Coordinates and facilitates the Department of Public Works’ assigned functions, ensuring seamless collaboration across internal divisions to deliver services punctually. Serves as a liaison by reporting the operational status of the assigned unit to public works and/or site leadership. Offers technical expertise and operational support to ongoing projects, ensuring alignment with established codes, standards, and specifications to maintain regulatory compliance. Conducts inspections and audits to verify adherence to defined requirements and identifies areas for improvement. Develops and delivers training programs to reinforce specialized processes and procedures. Engages with corporate and project leadership, designers, and client representatives to establish and execute public works initiatives effectively. Oversees the training, scheduling, and supervision of subordinate public works staff while performing any additional duties as required.

Prospective candidates must meet the following essential criteria to be considered for this position. Applicants should possess a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in the field. A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required, though advanced education may be preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to navigate complex challenges. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is also expected. Additionally, excellent communication and teamwork abilities are vital for collaboration within the organization.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with a minimum of five to eight years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent blend of education and hands-on work background.

Candidates must meet additional criteria, including educational qualifications, certifications, or specific skill sets outlined in the job posting. Proficiency in relevant software, tools, or methodologies may be required, depending on the position. Certain roles may necessitate prior work experience within a designated industry or function. Performs job responsibilities with the requisite knowledge, skill, and physical capability. Preferred Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in software development. Candidates should possess strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and familiarity with frameworks like Django, Spring, or .NET. Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and DevOps practices is highly advantageous. Knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases, is required. Excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are essential. Prior experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred.

The compensation for this position ranges from $34,300.00 to $53,900.00 annually.
