Oversee and coordinate project activities to ensure timely and successful completion, aligning with organizational objectives and client expectations. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, while identifying and mitigating potential risks. Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to maintain project momentum and quality standards. Monitor progress through regular updates, adjusting plans as necessary to address deviations and optimize efficiency. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide transparency and align on deliverables, priorities, and challenges.

Facilitate the ongoing administration of project operations by overseeing daily tasks and ensuring alignment with established timelines and objectives. Coordinate cross-functional efforts to maintain momentum, address any emerging challenges, and uphold the integrity of project deliverables through proactive monitoring and problem-solving.

Deliver comprehensive administrative and operational assistance to facilitate the successful execution of program initiatives.

Facilitate the planning and execution of logistical details for workshops, meetings, and other project-related events in alignment with the Project Manager’s directives.

Facilitate the organization of travel logistics for projects and provide support for the coordination and execution of conferences and events.

Provide support for financial administration functions, such as handling invoice processing, overseeing expense claims, and assisting with budget tracking as needed.

Regularly monitor media outlets and gather pertinent information to produce timely updates, ensuring the team stays apprised of key political and contextual developments that influence the program.

Ensure project files, records, and documentation remain meticulously organized, current, and fully compliant with established organizational standards at all times.

Additional assistance with project-related tasks may be required as needed.

Conduct routine field excursions to facilitate the execution of planned initiatives.

Execute all additional duties as directed by the supervisor.

*Seeking a highly motivated professional with a minimum of 5 years in a related field, preferably holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable discipline. Must demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, scripting, and problem-solving, along with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams. Familiarity with industry-standard tools and methodologies is required, as is a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.*

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

Seeking candidates with a minimum of three years of professional experience in conflict resolution, ideally gained within Sudan, the Horn of Africa region, or in an international context.

Individuals should possess a solid grasp of project management principles and a proven track record in administrative roles.

A preference exists for candidates with prior engagement in either regional or international organization settings.

Proficient in both spoken and written communication with a strong command of language.

Proficiency in Arabic is an essential prerequisite for this position.

Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with culturally diverse and multicultural groups, coupled with a keen sensitivity to varying communication styles and needs.

Proficiency in the socio-political, economic, and cultural dynamics of Sudan is highly advantageous for this role.

Possesses a solid grasp of peace and security concerns.

Individuals must possess the legal authorization to be employed in Kenya.
