Job Purpose
This position is designed to facilitate funding acquisition and execute strategic resource mobilization initiatives by focusing on activities that secure and sustain revenue streams, such as fostering relationships with current and prospective funders and uncovering new funding prospects. Additionally, the role involves crafting persuasive fundraising proposals that effectively convey the foundation’s objectives and requirements to potential donors. The contributions of this position are essential for cultivating a robust pipeline of funders, thereby ensuring the foundation’s long-term viability.
*Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology. A minimum of three years of professional experience in software development, systems engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Proficiency in at least one programming language—such as Python, Java, or C++—along with experience in database management and API integration is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are also necessary to thrive in this role. Familiarity with cloud platforms, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices is strongly preferred.*
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Development Studies, or a closely related discipline is required for this position.
With a minimum of six years of experience in fundraising or resource mobilization, candidates should demonstrate a proven track record in securing financial support and strategic partnerships.
Accomplished expertise in crafting compelling grant proposals, cultivating meaningful relationships with donors, and driving successful fundraising campaigns.
