Job Purpose
This position is designed to facilitate funding acquisition and execute strategic resource mobilization initiatives by focusing on activities that secure and sustain revenue streams, including fostering connections with current and prospective donors and uncovering new funding avenues. A critical aspect of this role involves crafting persuasive fundraising proposals that effectively convey the foundation’s objectives and financial requirements to potential supporters. The contributions made by this position are essential for cultivating a robust network of funders, thereby ensuring the long-term viability of the foundation.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience, along with at least three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard tools and software is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to evolving industry trends. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and best practices is a must.
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Development Studies, or a closely related discipline is required.
A minimum of six years of hands-on experience in fundraising and resource mobilization is required.
Accomplished in crafting compelling grant proposals, fostering meaningful relationships with donors, and spearheading campaign initiatives.
