The Program Support Officer will deliver vital program management and administrative assistance to the Insects for Food, Feed and Other Uses (ITSELF) Program, focusing on stakeholder engagement, budget coordination, financial and technical reporting, and program administration. This position plays a pivotal role in guaranteeing smooth project execution by optimizing workflows, ensuring punctual reporting, and maintaining ongoing collaboration with development partners and both internal and external stakeholders.

Seeking a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, complemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. The ideal applicant will possess strong analytical abilities, proficient communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and within collaborative teams. Additionally, familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is essential, along with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

A recognized university must award a bachelor’s degree in business administration or an equivalent field.

Project management training is available to equip professionals with essential methodologies, tools, and best practices for leading projects effectively. This program covers key concepts such as scope definition, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Participants will develop skills in agile and traditional project management frameworks, ensuring they can adapt to diverse project environments. The training emphasizes practical application through case studies, hands-on exercises, and real-world simulations to reinforce learning outcomes. Completion of the program may include assessments or certifications, such as PMP or CAP, to validate expertise. Requires a minimum of four to five years of hands-on experience in managing projects or programs.
