Provide one-on-one and group counselling sessions to support students in addressing their social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

Offer dedicated counselling and pastoral care services to residential students, focusing on challenges such as adjustment difficulties, homesickness, cultural transitions, and interpersonal relationship issues.
Work collaboratively alongside residential life staff, house heads, and families to foster a secure, supportive, and nurturing boarding community.
Conduct interactive workshops and collaborative group activities designed to foster a sense of community, enhance emotional well-being, and develop essential life skills among boarding students.
Maintain a close watch on the mental health and overall well-being of residential students, initiating external referrals to qualified mental health professionals as required.

Applicants must meet specific qualifications to be considered for this position. Essential requirements include a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is mandatory, and candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities. Additionally, excellent communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment are highly valued. Familiarity with project management methodologies and prior leadership experience are preferred but not required.
A bachelor’s degree in Counselling or School Counselling from a recognized accredited institution is required.
A valid teaching degree or certification is required for this position.
A valid teaching certificate along with certification as a counselor is required.
A minimum of three years of professional experience as a school counselor within an international school environment is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked in International Baccalaureate (IB) programs.
Proficiency in providing support services for students residing in residential or boarding facilities is strongly preferred.
Skilled in providing both individual and group counselling, as well as crisis intervention and support for residential students.
Proficient knowledge of the International Baccalaureate curriculum framework, its assessment methodologies, and the underlying educational principles that define its approach.
Exceptional proficiency in communication, organizational management, and interpersonal relationships is required.
