We seek a dependable and committed Driver/Messenger to enhance our mailroom services and ensure operational excellence. This position involves transporting internal and external mail and packages with efficiency and punctuality, adhering to company protocols to guarantee professional handling of all deliveries and collections. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining precise mail records and assisting the team in executing daily mailroom functions seamlessly.

What you will bring

A minimum of two years of professional driving experience is required, along with a flawless driving history.

A current Kenyan driver’s license is required; possession of a Public Service Vehicle (PSV) license is highly preferred.

Proficient in operating vehicles with exceptional control, precision, and adherence to safety protocols. Demonstrates advanced maneuvering capabilities, spatial awareness, and situational adaptability to navigate diverse road conditions efficiently.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to engage clearly and collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and third-party partners.

Accurately managing and maintaining meticulous records of all mail and delivery transactions is essential.

Proficient in general health and safety regulations as well as safe driving practices is required.

Demonstrates strong teamwork and cooperation skills to effectively support colleagues in a dynamic, high-pressure workplace.

Ensuring tasks are completed punctually and vehicles remain in a state of operational readiness is essential.

Capable of lifting and transporting substantial items and walking for prolonged durations as needed.

Maintains a steadfast commitment to customer service excellence, consistently prioritizing client satisfaction and needs.

What you will be doing

Promptly transport and retrieve internal and external mail to and from specified destinations.

Provide support in the categorization, documentation, and management of incoming mail and parcels.

The vehicle must be kept in a safe, clean, and properly maintained condition, with routine inspections conducted to identify any issues that require reporting.

Responsible for ensuring the precision and thoroughness of delivery logs and records associated with all mail and vehicle operations.

Facilitate the exchange of information and synchronize logistics with clients, suppliers, and additional external partners to ensure seamless delivery operations.

Transportation services must be arranged for employees, clients, and other visitors as needed.

Maintain strict compliance with all safety regulations and protocols during both driving operations and mail handling procedures.

Offer supplementary assistance to the Facilities Management team by organizing, categorizing, and properly labeling documents as required.
