Work collaboratively with the Engineering team to align planned and breakdown maintenance activities while minimizing operational disruptions.
Conduct preventative maintenance checks to ensure operators adhere to established procedures.
Develop and uphold a “Zero Incident” safety culture while ensuring every accident or near-miss is promptly reported, documented, and thoroughly investigated.
Qualifications
A diploma or degree in Production Management, Food Science, Horticulture, or a related field is required.
With a minimum of five to seven years of experience in the food processing or FMCG sector, including at least three years in a production management capacity where multiple teams or shifts were supervised, the ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in operational leadership and process optimization.
Experience within the horticultural sector is essential, with a requirement for prior involvement in fresh produce, packhorse operations, or other relevant horticultural production environments.
Seasoned leadership and management expertise with decisive authority—capable of guiding section heads, enforcing accountability, and upholding discipline throughout operations.
Experts must possess comprehensive expertise in food safety regulations, encompassing BRCGS, GMP, HACCP, and FSSC standards.
Proficiency in monitoring and assessing production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including yield, throughput, efficiency, and waste reduction metrics, is required.
Proficient in cold chain logistics and FIFO warehouse management principles.
Proficient in articulating ideas clearly, resolving disputes constructively, and addressing challenges with innovative solutions.
