ROLE SUMMARY
The E-Commerce Operations Associate for the Coast Region plays a pivotal role in directing fulfillment teams to deliver precise, streamlined, and prompt order processing while maintaining rigorous inventory control, optimizing workflows, and managing performance. Additionally, the position ensures strict adherence to operational, quality, and safety protocols.
ROLE PROFILE
Oversee and manage the activities of team leaders and fulfillment personnel to uphold seamless daily e-commerce operations.
Responsibilities include managing the complete order fulfillment cycle, from picking and packing to labeling and dispatching products.
Monitor team performance and productivity by evaluating them against established KPIs, including pick rate, on-time handover, and delivery targets.
Collaborate across store operations, logistics, and customer service teams to synchronize workflows and guarantee the punctual delivery of orders.
Ensure strict adherence to established operational procedures, safety standards, and quality control mandates throughout all activities.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and ongoing support to team leaders and staff to enhance operational efficiency and overall performance.
Compile operational reports, and promptly escalate any concerns regarding delays, stock discrepancies, or system malfunctions to senior management.
Ensure precise delivery quantities by conducting quality control audits in accordance with the established guidelines set by the loss prevention team.
The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and demonstrate at least three years of proven experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Additionally, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines is highly valued. Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices is a must, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or an equivalent field is required.
Requires 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce fulfillment, warehouse operations, or retail environments.
Demonstrated success in supervisory roles or team leadership, with a strong capacity to oversee frontline teams in environments characterized by high volume and fast-paced operations.
Possesses a comprehensive grasp of inventory management fundamentals, stock regulation strategies, and operational warehouse procedures, including receiving, order picking, packaging, and shipment dispatch.
Demonstrates strong skills in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools, capable of analyzing performance data to derive actionable operational insights.
Proven ability to lead teams effectively, foster clear communication, and coordinate stakeholders across operations, logistics, and customer service functions.
