Delivering comprehensive secretarial support to the Management Advisory Committee.

Maintaining Human Resource records with precision and punctuality is essential to ensure their accuracy and timeliness.

Formulating and executing human resource management directives in accordance with established rules, regulations, and operational procedures.

Overseeing the processing and administration of payroll operations, you will ensure accurate and timely disbursement of employee compensation while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Your responsibilities will include calculating wages, withholding taxes, and managing deductions, as well as generating and distributing pay stubs and tax documents. Additionally, you will resolve any payroll discrepancies, address employee inquiries, and collaborate with HR and finance teams to maintain seamless payroll functionality.

Compiling and preparing comprehensive reports on the execution of performance management systems, with a focus on performance appraisals, is a key responsibility of this role.

Maintaining accurate records of staff training and development programs is essential to ensure compliance and track progress effectively.

Person specification

For consideration for this position, an officer must meet the following criteria:

Over a span of nine years, the candidate has accumulated extensive work experience, including a requisite three years in the capacity of Senior Human Resource Management Officer or an equivalent role within either the Public Service or Private Sector.

A recognized institution must award a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or an equivalent qualification.

OR

A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Sociology, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Commerce is required, supplemented by a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or Development, or an equivalent credential from an accredited institution.

Having been officially accredited by the Institute of Human Resource Management (HRM), the candidate demonstrates compliance with professional standards in the field of human resources.

Recognized institution coursework in management constitutes a fundamental educational requirement.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing a variety of computer applications is required.
