Qualification
Must have
Earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited academic institution.
Holds a current registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) as a Registered Nurse.
A minimum of three years of hands-on training experience within a comparable institution is required.
THETA-registered Technical Trainer with valid credentials is required.
Key duties encompass conducting thorough research to identify emerging industry trends, analyzing market data to inform strategic decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions. Additionally, the role demands meticulous attention to detail in preparing reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all deliverables. Strong communication skills are essential for presenting findings to stakeholders, while proficiency in relevant software tools supports efficient workflow management. The position may also involve overseeing project timelines, coordinating with external partners, and maintaining rigorous compliance with organizational policies.
Plan, develop, and deliver assigned instructional units in strict accordance with the established course outline and curriculum standards.
Responsibilities include creating educational resources, ensuring professional documentation is prepared and submitted promptly, and maintaining accurate records to track student progress, accomplishments, and attendance.
Design and implement tailored educational programs to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring personalized and effective learning experiences.
Evaluates student work and tracks academic progress to ensure continuous improvement and mastery of learning objectives.
Participate actively in the course review process, adjusting delivery methods to align with student requirements.
Responsibilities include evaluating Trainees’ Assessment Tests (C.A. Ts) and end-of-term assessments, accurately documenting results, and promptly entering the marks into the designated Management Information System (MIS) for the assigned units.
Execute practical training sessions for trainees while overseeing the compilation and maintenance of their evidence portfolios.
Supervising students throughout the duration of examinations is a key responsibility, ensuring adherence to established academic integrity policies while maintaining a secure and conducive testing environment. This role involves monitoring student behavior, addressing inquiries, and promptly resolving any irregularities or disruptions that arise during assessments. Additionally, proctors verify student identities, distribute and collect assessment materials, and confirm compliance with testing protocols. Effective communication, vigilance, and attention to detail are essential to uphold the integrity and fairness of the evaluation process.
Playing an integral role in designing, structuring, and executing an exceptional curriculum ensures alignment with educational standards and institutional goals.
Attends and actively contributes to departmental meetings to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, staying abreast of key developments, and fostering collaborative discussions. Engages in meeting preparation by reviewing agendas, relevant materials, and action items, and provides thoughtful input to enhance decision-making processes. Demonstrates professionalism by punctually attending scheduled meetings, respecting diverse viewpoints, and maintaining a constructive dialogue throughout the discussions.
