Our Kenya-based business is currently seeking a Parts Field Sales Advisor to enhance our team in Nairobi, where this role will report directly to the After Sales Manager.

In this position you will

Fosters strong, collaborative working relationships with colleagues by communicating in a clear and effective manner.

Support Service Technicians by assessing and identifying necessary parts requirements.

Establishes and nurtures productive collaborations with both vendors and internal staff members.

Upon arrival of special order parts, the incumbent notifies customers promptly, ensuring they receive timely updates regarding their requests.

The role ensures the Technician receives required parts promptly, reducing wait times by employing pre-picking strategies when appropriate, such as for customer recalls or scheduled service appointments.

Employ retail strategies to effectively merchandise and showcase parts and accessories.

Collaborates with the Service Department, Sales Department, Body Shop, and other relevant teams to facilitate the fulfillment of parts requests.

Evaluates and facilitates initiatives to enhance methods and processes within the Parts Department.

Leverage parts resources, including catalogues, to gather comprehensive inventory data for parts and accessories.

Ensures rigorous management of parts inventory to enhance operational efficiency and prevent customer delays.

Leverages available inventory allowances to proactively reduce idle stock and minimize obsolescence, ensuring efficient resource utilization and cost control.

Maintains an organized and efficient filing system to manage all documentation related to repair orders, special orders, and back orders.

Handling customer inquiries regarding parts and providing follow-ups to facilitate sales.

Special orders are processed, and subsequent sales are monitored diligently to ensure timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Providing customers with additional product recommendations during service interactions to enhance their purchases.

Engaging in company-sponsored promotional initiatives is a key component of this role.

About You

To excel in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline is required.

With a proven track record in parts sales, the ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in this specialized field.

Customer service training will be considered an additional asset.

Demonstrates a deep commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships through attentive service and personalized solutions.

Holders must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing to operate company vehicles and fulfill job-related travel requirements.

A strong emphasis on precision and meticulous attention to detail is required.

Proven capability to consistently meet established deadlines while maintaining focus and productivity under minimal supervision, whether operating independently or collaborating within a team dynamic.
