The Program Risk Management (PMR) team, based within the Regional Operations section of ESRO, delivers strategic direction and regulatory supervision to EAR Country Offices (CO’s) in executing the Office of Strategy and Evidence’s (ONE) Program Implementation Procedure and its accompanying Handbook. This framework encompasses key functions such as work planning, ACT assurance planning and execution, collaboration with civil society organizations (CSOs), and adherence to Social and Environmental Standards (SES), including Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA).

This role will deliver administrative assistance to the PMR team and support broader office operations. Additionally, it will involve collecting and analyzing data to strengthen the team’s ability to uphold quality and efficiency in the development, oversight, and monitoring of government and civil society partnerships at the country office level, as well as managing associated risks. Responsibilities include utilizing relevant e-Platforms—such as tools, INPP, Insight, Vision, and RAM—as well as extracting and interpreting data from these systems.

Key responsibilities and essential functions include a comprehensive range of duties and related tasks:

Engage in the facilitation of ACT assurance initiatives by contributing to planning and implementation efforts for EAR Country Offices, including the extraction, analysis, and reporting of pertinent data and information. This role involves leveraging insights to enhance planning processes, prioritize actions, and drive continuous improvement in Age-related activities.

Contributes to the PMR team by gathering, assessing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data and information from UNICEF’s systems to enhance program and risk management, as well as to support the creation of reports and presentations.
