Expertise in insurance strategies and comprehensive risk mitigation is essential for this role. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of various insurance policies, including life, health, property, and liability coverage, along with the ability to analyze and manage potential risks effectively. Responsibilities include evaluating risk exposure, recommending appropriate insurance solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Hold a degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Finance.

Knowledge:
Proficiency in the insurance sector, particularly with medical/health insurance products, policy frameworks, and benefit design, is required.
Proficiency in medical loss ratio management, claims analysis, and underwriting principles specific to group medical schemes is required.
Professional version:
Demonstrated expertise in Kenya’s insurance-specific Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance standards as mandated by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) guidelines.
A background in wellness program frameworks and principles of chronic disease management (CDMP) is beneficial.
