Market research and competitive intelligence involve conducting comprehensive market analyses and tracking competitor actions, pricing patterns, and emerging market trends. Seeking a candidate with a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in the specified field, supported by a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience in project management or a related discipline is highly advantageous. Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements pertinent to the role is also necessary. Additionally, the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
An MBA or an equivalent management qualification is strongly preferred.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
Requires a minimum of five years of professional experience in pharmaceutical marketing, communications, brand coordination, or commercial support.
Proficiency in pharmaceutical launches, promotional initiatives, institutional business development, or tender support activities is advantageous.
Proven track record within the pharmaceutical sector across East African markets is essential.
