Do you possess a dynamic blend of creativity and a people-focused mindset, coupled with a strong enthusiasm for digital marketing and exceptional interpersonal skills? Can you excel in the intersection of content creation, customer engagement, and data-driven strategies? Consider joining ENSO Education as a Marketing Intern at Tangela International Schools (DISC), where you will take a leading role in shaping how prospective families learn about and select our schools.

As a Marketing Intern, you will serve at the crucial nexus of marketing and admissions, engaging inbound leads, cultivating relationships with prospective families, and strengthening DISC’s brand visibility across digital platforms.

Your mission:

Serve as the primary contact for inbound inquiries, handling them professionally across phone, WhatsApp, email, and social media channels. Qualify leads meticulously and coordinate campus visits to convert prospects effectively.

Produce and oversee engaging content by crafting dynamic social media posts, reels, newsletters, and marketing materials with Canva and AI tools to strengthen DISC’s online footprint across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp.

Ensure the CRM remains organized and up-to-date by meticulously recording every lead interaction in Pipedrive, accurately maintaining pipeline stages, and upholding data integrity to enable the admissions team to generate reliable reports with confidence.

Provide comprehensive support for campaigns from start to finish, including managing enrollment-season initiatives, open days, and school events at all DISC campuses, and assist with tasks ranging from brief development to post-event reporting.

Your work will play a pivotal role in enhancing lead conversion rates, boosting enrollment numbers, and strengthening DISC’s brand visibility, positioning you as an essential contributor to the institution’s mission of growth.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties to ensure operational excellence, including strategic planning, team leadership, and performance management. Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive measurable outcomes while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align projects with organizational goals, ensuring seamless integration of resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, mitigate risks, and optimize processes, thereby enhancing efficiency and productivity across all departments. Additionally, serve as a primary point of contact for senior leadership, providing clear, actionable insights and recommendations to inform high-level decision-making. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices while maintaining meticulous documentation and reporting standards.

Screening and converting leads stand as the primary focus of this position.

Respond to all initial inbound inquiries received through phone, WhatsApp, email, and social media direct messages in accordance with the established Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Conduct initial screening calls with a standardized qualification script to evaluate parents’ needs, alignment with the curriculum, and project timelines.

Responsibilities include organizing and advancing leads within Pipedrive, progressing them systematically through each pipeline stage, beginning with New Lead and culminating in Campus Visit Scheduled.

Cultivate warm leads by delivering tailored follow-up communications, distributing comprehensive school information packets, and extending invitations to targeted events.

Coordinate campus visits and open day attendance, ensuring the Admission Manager is briefed in advance of each event.

Each week, compile and present data on lead volume, response times, qualification rates, and conversion metrics to the Admission Manager.

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee our marketing content and enhance our digital presence. The ideal candidate will develop and execute comprehensive content strategies, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms. Responsibilities include creating engaging copy for websites, social media, and email campaigns, optimizing content for SEO, and analyzing performance metrics to refine strategies. Proficiency in content management systems, SEO tools, and analytics platforms is required, along with strong writing and editing skills. Experience in digital marketing, a keen understanding of audience engagement, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential. The role demands creativity, strategic thinking, and a data-driven approach to drive measurable results in our digital footprint.

Develop and oversee a monthly social media content calendar tailored for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp platforms, ensuring comprehensive coverage for all DISC campuses.

Create engaging content, including posts, stories, reels, newsletters, brochures, and event flyers, using Canva and AI writing tools, all while ensuring alignment with ENSO’s brand standards.

Produce high-quality photographs and brief videos documenting school events, campus activities, and student initiatives to support marketing communications across various channels.

Prepare parent-focused communications such as newsletters, invitations for open days, and follow-up materials for campaigns.

Conduct in-depth research and compile comprehensive reports to support data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives. Analyze information from various sources, identify key trends, and present findings in clear, actionable formats. Ensure accuracy, relevance, and timeliness in all deliverables while adhering to established methodologies and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, validate data, and refine reporting processes for continuous improvement.

Perform ongoing analyses of competitors to evaluate their market positioning, fee structures, and messaging strategies, then compile and present detailed reports.

Monitor and document social media performance metrics, website traffic patterns, and campaign outcomes by leveraging platform-specific analytics tools and Google Analytics for comprehensive reporting.

Responsibilities include managing marketing databases, mailing lists, and contact records within the Pipedrive platform.

What we’re looking for

We seek self-driven, detail-oriented, and empathetic professionals who thrive in both collaborative environments and innovative projects. What truly distinguishes candidates is their potential and mindset—not merely their years of experience.

We place high importance on the following qualities:

You thrive in interpersonal interactions, demonstrating an innate ability to engage with strangers effortlessly while ensuring parents feel valued and accommodated from the first point of contact.

You exhibit strong self-motivation by taking initiative to pursue leads independently, identifying potential obstacles in advance, and completing tasks promptly without requiring supervision.

Capable of efficiently handling multiple dynamic workloads, you adeptly oversee a WhatsApp inbox, a content calendar, and a Pipedrive pipeline in tandem, maintaining precision and organization under pressure.

Proficient in leveraging digital tools and platforms, with strong expertise in Canva, Google Workspace, AI-driven content solutions (including Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini), and CRM systems.

Strong written and spoken English proficiency is essential for this role. Fluency in Swahili is preferred, while proficiency in French constitutes a significant advantage, considering ENSO’s extensive pan-African network.

Commercially minded: You recognize that each lead represents a possible enrollment and approach every interaction with this perspective in mind.
